Manage consents
Every participant carries four native consents, each with the date of its last change. They document GDPR compliance and help target communications.
The four consents
Section titled “The four consents”| Consent | Meaning |
|---|---|
| “Terms accepted” | Has accepted the terms and conditions. |
| “Personal data” | Has accepted the processing of personal data. |
| “Marketing consent” | Agrees to receive marketing communications. |
| “Tracking consent” | Agrees to tracking (pixel / cookies). |
Acceptance and refusal dates are set automatically by the platform when the value changes. They cannot be edited manually.
View a participant’s consents
Section titled “View a participant’s consents”The participant record includes a “Consents” section: each consent is shown as a granted or refused badge. Hover over a badge to see the corresponding date — “Accepted on”, “Refused on”, or “Never set”.
Edit consents
Section titled “Edit consents”- Open the participant, then select “Edit”.
- In the “Participation” step, switch “Terms accepted”, “Personal data”, “Marketing consent”, and “Tracking consent” on or off.
- Save: the date of each changed consent is updated automatically.
Filter, sort, and display as columns
Section titled “Filter, sort, and display as columns”In the “Participant List”, the “Consents” field group is available everywhere:
- Columns: add the four consents and their dates from the “Columns” selector;
- Advanced filters: filter by value (true / false) or by date (“between”, “last N days”, “is empty”…) — for example all participants with “Marketing consent” granted;
- Sorting: click a consent column header.
Bulk edit and exports
Section titled “Bulk edit and exports”- “Bulk Edit” can change the four consents; the associated dates are recalculated automatically. Date fields are read-only and cannot be bulk edited.
- Exports include the consents and their dates when the corresponding columns are visible (or with “Export all columns”).
Collect consents in a form
Section titled “Collect consents in a form”Registration forms can present consent checkboxes, with links to your terms or privacy policy directly in the label. See Design a registration form.
